some shots from the artifacts lookbook, photographed by ama saru and modelled by stephanie smith. the artifacts collection was inspired by the excavation work of junius bird, american archaeologist and former curator of south american archaeology at the museum of natural history. his digs at cueva fell, patagonia in the mid-1930s were instrumental in establishing the presence of human activity & civilizations in south america dating back to 9000 BC. and, as a fun bonus fact, some say that bird was an inspiration for the character of indiana jones, although that remains a hotly debated subject among movie and archaeology nerds alike.
